Our team:
You will be part of the Global PMO (program management office) team which is a fresh, dynamic and growing team. Currently the PMO department ensures that drug development programs are effectively executed and delivered. To further strengthen the backbone of the organization and support Pharming grow and success, the PMO department will also be the organization CoE (Center of Excellence) to embed and mantain project management in Pharming culture and way of working. As a result of this continuous growth we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced PMO CoE MAnager to strengthen the PMO team.

Purpose of the role:
The Pmo CoE Manager contributes to the success of the PMO team by developing and implementing standard methodologies (PMM), tools and templates to enable better delivery of (enterprise) projects and programs; He/she ensures the use of such best practices tools and methodology within the organization.
The PMO CoE Manager partners with the organization and provides guidance with qualitative and tailored project management best practices and trends on the whole portfolio, program and project (PPP) level, driving value through excellence and standardization.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and update PPP (Project, program, portfolio) governance and standardized methodologies (including templates, documentation, KPI, reporting) as fit with the needs of Pharming
  • Development of Project Management training in collaboration with Learning & Development department
  • Build and maintain knowledge management/repository (user-friendly & easy to find)
  • Able to effectively work toward achieving the targeted results in a determined and persistent way
  • Acts as an ambassador together with other project managers by promoting, actively spreading and maintaining PM culture within the company and represent the PMO in the organization
  • Share lessons learned and best practices within the to be build PM community
  • Support Pharming by providing qualitative delivery of agreed PMO services and by facilitating workshops and meetings
  • Assure quality compliance of the deliverables as well as of the methodologies, templates and tools - audit based on PM methodology and provide project health checks across the organization
  • Support portfolio selection and prioritization
  • Facilitate the selection and implementation of an aligned set of PPM tools (with IT support)
  • Act as coach/mentor for junior (PMO) colleagues

Your profile

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in PMO and PPP methodologies
  • Minimum of 2 years in Life Science Industry
  • Expert knowledge in Project, Program & Portfolio Management-PPP (proficient)
  • Experienced and driven ambassador of Pharming PPP-methodology with excellent influencing, negotiation and communication skills (oral and written, including presentations)Master PMO, and knowledge management tools & templates
  • PMP certified
  • Project management planning Knowledge technology tools (eg MS project, Power BI, Planisware, Primavera)
  • Change Management
  • Fluent communication in English (written and spoken)
