We are currently seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to join us on a full-time basis for an initial one year fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.

The Role
As an Electrical Controls Technician, you will carry out skilled maintenance and repair work on electrical systems throughout the U.S. Embassy.
Reporting to the Supervisory Building Engineer, you will work on critical and non-critical electrical components within functional and office buildings.
You will also conduct work with on-compound ancillary and residential buildings, above and below ground infrastructure, recreational facilities and other owned and leased properties.
About You
To be considered as an Electrical Controls Technician, you will need:
- To be experienced and fully qualified/apprentice trained in the installation, repair and maintenance of commercial building electrical systems
- The ability to repair complex equipment, components and systems
- Completion of secondary school and/or specialised vocational training program
- A full, valid driving licence
Please note, all applicants under consideration will be required to pass security certification and may be required to obtain a Certificate of Conduct for Natural Persons (VOG) from the Ministry of Safety and Justice of the Netherlands.
